The phrase "If you like --, you'll LOVE --." tends to annoy me, because the reality is always either that I hate the latter because it reads like a poor man's version of the former, or I like the latter but I like it less than the former because it reads like a poor man's version of the former. This blogger didn't exactly say "If you like Pinkwater, you'll love King Dork", but he compares it favourably to Pinkwater, and you know what? I think I will wander into the juvenile section of the library and give it a read -- it will be a quick read.
